Do You Notarize Documents Remotely?

Currently, remote notarization is not permitted in Ontario. The legislation is currently open to the idea of remote notarization, but there is no active provision (regulation) that actually makes it legal or operational at this time. In practical terms, that means a notary public's seal that is applied in Ontario, must be completed in person.

It is important to do your research with your third party and local legislation to avoid delays or rejection with your document legalization.
